Users may want to move apps or data to an SD card in order to free up some space in their device's internal memory. This will help provide a smoother experience. Some users may want to set the external SD card as the default download location for files they use when downloading apps.
Android has this feature built in. Users can set the default download location for files to the external SD card without any third-party apps or tweaks. Here is how you can set the external SD card as the default download location for your files: On your Android tablet or phone, tap the app drawer icon from the home screen. From the displayed list, tap on the My files icon. From the opened window, on the top right corner, tap the icon with four horizontal lines.
Is there a way to set the default install location to SD card of all downloaded apps from play store. This question has been asked before and already has an answer.
If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question. This has been by far one the best utility app that I have bought for my phone. I had a special condition where my SD card was 'emulated' and so the OS couldn't link the app to the external storage.
This app solves that by having you partition the SD card and then using a startup script to mount it as another ext filesystem that it can use to link to.
