The maps are very repetitive and way too dark very difficult to navigate , the controls make you feel like you're not in control, and the enemies take way too many hits if you can even hit them. The most annoying aspect of this game, however, is the fact that you can fire your weapon and watch the projectiles float over to the target.

What the earlier commenters said, for the most part. One technical point is that this is an old print in which most of the cyan and yellow have faded, leaving mostly magenta. I remember that when I first saw it, the bodies were lying on green grass or, it now seems, in water in which the surrounding greenery was reflected , and their skin looked yellowish, contrasting vividly with the crimson blood. Nor do I remember the stream being particularly red.
The color shift in this print led one reviewer below, eight years ago or so, to conclude incorrectly that the shoe was floating on a river of blood. At least it appears that the girls were not raped. I'd hate to live in that world.
Reviewer: ra. My elementary school showed this video yearly. I attended I can't really say that it traumatized me, but it did stick with me! I certainly never forgot it. The highlights for me when I began looking for this video online after describing it to a friend were the hopscotch and the song at the beginning, the girls getting into the car, the one girl wearing a romper, the girls running in the woods, and of course, the shoe floating in the creek at the very end with the song being sung!
I never realized it was based on a true story until I read these reviews. Fortunately, I had forgotten the graphic photos of the girls at the end, but I never forgot that damn shoe! I have a daughter in elementary school now and I wonder what the reaction would be like if a video like this were to be shown in school these days?

The murdered girls went to my school but were 1 grade behind me. When this film was released, our school sent home a permission slip and not only did parents have to sign the slip for us to be allowed to watch it, the parents were invited, and in fact, encouraged to come and view the clip with their child.
My Grandmother came with me and if I'm not totally mistaken, it was shown in the evening, not during the school day. I vaguely remember Mr. Butler that's what I called him but he was at that time a Captain, later the Chief of Police, talking to us kids in the neighborhood. My grandparents rented the upstairs apartment in his house so I knew him pretty well.
I just thought that you all should know that this was a shock to the entire community And parents WERE included. Any trauma that we suffered wasn't because of the film One more thing strikes me as I watched this movie.
